Just write it down !!!
Why do I write blogs ???
Yes I love the super awesome comments I get and the love my family and friends shower on me!
( some narcissism here ) . Because ऋचा जे करेल ते चांगलच अष्णार !!
नाही बरं का !! Open for healthy criticism!!
So I write blogs because -
People do blogs and vlogs online. It helps you to express yourself and keep documentation of what is happening in your life. Facebook and instagram help us do the same.
But keeping a real journal with paper and ink is a different kind of feeling. You can write whatever you want. Nobody is going to come and judge you or correct your grammar and give you marks for clean handwriting. You can make your journal the way you like. A friend of mine in hostel used to just write on pieces of paper.
You also get those yearly diaries where there are dates and stuff. Some people use them but I find those extremely boring because then you are forced to write everyday. Journaling should come naturally and should be free flowing. Mridula maushi had once shared that in college times she used to write everyday in her diary - "just as above". That is something you should'nt do.
Do not just write what you did the whole day. Write what you felt about what you did. Then it will help. Break down your thoughts and write them down. Inspect them and then you will be like " Oh why did I make a huge deal out of nothing"
THAT MY FRIENDS WILL GIVE YOU A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP !
HAPPY JOURNALING !!

So I write blogs because -
1) I want to spread awareness about public health which includes mental health ( And yes public health people can provide primary mental health care - Park has a chapter on mental health )
2) It is therapeutic .......Oh my God it is so therapeutic. The calmness and sortedness I feel after writing things down is beyond imagination.
But blogging is something which I do publically. Journalling and keeping a diary is something which I do privately. It is like meditation. I write all sorts of things in . There is even a page in my diary for worst days.
When I was going to Pravara to do my MBBS my school friends gave me this amazing diary. It was almost 200 pages with handmade paper, even the cover was handmade and amazingly nice pink colour it had with an impression of a leaf on it. It was a priceless gift and I still cherish it. Its the one on the left in the photo above. So I started writing in it since the 1st day of my college. It has been with me through all the happy times and the tough times. I have used it like a scrap book too. There are letters from numerous people in that diary. Especially from aai and baba. Then there are movie tickets and chocolate wrappers, decorations from birthday parties and what not. Since it was a diary with plain paper I could draw too. It has my happy thoughts and even my tears. That diary has long since ended but still I carry it with me everywhere. Some pages I hide while some pages I love to show off to my special people. One friend of mine commented that this is like offline facebook. hahahahahaha........So it is !
