STATISTICS KI PHILOSOPHY !!!

                              Statistics is an integral part of public health. It is difficult to assess a problem in community without counting that problem where statistics helps us. It helps us to quantify any problem, assess the intensity of that problem, prioritize different problems and then plan different solutions to these problems. Statistics also helps in assessing the effectiveness of that solution. Does it really help ?                  I was feeling really low yesterday and I saw a book on my bookshelf (Thank God for books ) - The mind of  Mahatma Gandhi. I felt it would help me understand my suffering. So I took the book and opened the first page. Policy of truth it said......and last line of that para was 'Truth is God' instead of the maxim 'God is Truth'. It helps him see God face to face.               ...

5 Questions !!?!?!?!?!?!!

These are the latest burning questions in my head......Few I have answers to while others are just to make you think! Question no 1 :  Why do we go to school ? I was always late for school. The only thing that attracted me to school were my friends and craft and drawing classes. Now a days we have information in our hands. We only need teachers to explain the concepts. I heard someone say that day when they were deciding which school to put their child in - All schools are equally bad. How do we assess the quality of school ? By checking the marks students get in SSC i.e the 10th std whatever board they might be in. I was in SSC and it hasn't made any difference in my growth. Why don't we check which school has the least stressed out children or happier children. Time for reality check teachers !! Question no 2 : What is money ? Is it the measure of success or power? Then why has the richest man on earth decided to give away most of his wealth for the purpose of pub...
