THE SAME OLD ROUTINE!

Monday blues? Why is it even a thing?Does it mean you are not looking forward to doing a job.I know its a weird world with weird logic....To survive you need food...for food you need money.....for money you need a job....for a job you need education....but for education you need money. Its like a factory....everybody has to go through the process.
It was time for Abhimanyu my nephew to start his school....and me and Saee( his mother) were discusssing that how beautiful his life is right now.He gets up plays eats sleeps again plays and then again sleeps.Once his school starts he will have to go through the entire routine like we did.Staying in Vile-Parle it has to be first Early Concepts (a new Parle thing ) then Ramabai then Parle Tilak Vidyalaya or Mahila Sangh ( I am biased for PTV ) then Sathaye college or Dahanukar college then graduation.
Everything seems so fixed in life it is uncanny. But everybody goes through it so did I and I enjoyed it thoroughly. That is what is important.Did you enjoy it or are you doing it just because everyone else is doing it?
Everybody has a routine ....it is healthy to have one....But are you living it or are you just looking forward for the weekends.People drag on through the week with their work and then when weekend is there they will be down with two drinks and smoking a cigarette and saying "This is life....Cheers!!"But is it cool to have a life like this? Are we just living for the weekends or sometimes a vacation.People will go to the Himalayas to find peace and escape from their daily lives.
My point is make peace with your routine...Love each moment of your day.
Where did all these thoughts come in my head?Long back I had read a book 'Tuesdays with Morrie'.It was an interview of an old guy suffering from motor neuron disease. The spirit that guy had I try to keep it inside me.When he was asked 'If you were given only 1 day of your life what would you do?'
I was expecting something superhuman which anyone can imagine....But his reply was....I would just follow my routine and die peacefully.
So your routine is important....Earning money is important but do what you love ...and whatever you do you do it with your heart...Sorry to be too preachy as my friend Mitali says but Love yourself , have a great routine and enjoy life!!!!

  1. The trick is to be spontaneous in the routine. Then it doesn't remain a chore. Of course, if you have to catch 8:49 to Bhiwandi, you have to. But you can choose a different route to the station, use different over bridge orlisten to a different music. And then you can "walk to a different tune" , say Cheers!! ........ and mean it.
