NO UTERUS NO OPINION!

28th May.....World menstruation day!!
9th standard division C, year 2004......I am peacefully having my lunch at my desk....suddenly some guys start snickering and the girls have grim faces...I ask around and I learn that these people saw a girl with a stained uniform with blood....The only thought that came to everyone at that time was How could she? As if somehow it was her fault....seriously?
Every month girls experience bleeding along with dysmenorrhoea and mood problems...It is not a burden for us...We go through it as naturally as possible....But then "they" go and put tax on sanitary napkins....and there is no tax on sindoor and bindi....How can sindoor and bindi be more necessary than sanitary napkins.
It is time that sex education is taken for girls and boys together.Girls should be taught there is no reason to hide their sanitary napkins as if its like some evil not to be seen by anyone. Why is it necessary to wrap the sanitary napkin packet in a newspaper and then put it in a black bag.Ssshhh nobody should come to know that you are having periods.
Don't enter a temple when you are having periods...Why? God only gave us this beautiful responsibility of bearing a child and you are preventing us from going close to him.
It would be a better world when next time a boy sees a stain on any girl he will offer his jacket to her till she gets to change....instead of snickering behind her back....Don't protect your girls from bad boys....raise your boys to be good humans!!
